Former MNA Chaudhry Zahid Iqbal booked for forgery and fraud

Sadar Police Station Chichawatni has registered a case against former Chairman District Council Sahiwal and former MNA of PML-N Chaudhry Zahid Iqbal for cheating, forgery and fraud.

According to the details, Chichawatni police have registered a case against former Chairman of District Council Sahiwal, PML-N former MNA Chaudhry Zahid Iqbal and his secretary Kashif Ali on charges of making fake documents without paying the second installment of Rs 3 crore 42 lac and 50 thousand.

The accused purchased 6 kanals 17 marla agricultural land from Tariq Amin Advocate and Ahmed Amin, two brothers of Chak 39/12L, Chichawatni for Rs 6 crore and 50 lacs and tokenized the acknowledgement and paid the first installment on July 13, 2021.

While the second installment of Rs 3 crore 42 lac and 50 thousand was due on September 13, 2022.

But instead of paying, when he tried to acquire ownership through bogus witnesses by signing the bogus signature himself, Advocate Tariq Amin came to know about the forgery of the accused and the signatures on the stamp were verified by the Punjab Forensic Science Agency.

On which the signatures of the lawyer and his brother were found to be forged. Police Station Sadar Chichawatni has registered a case 471468420 against Zahid Iqbal and Munshi Kashif Ali on the complaint of Tariq Amin, the accused have not been arrested yet.
