If the Supreme Court decides against PTI under pressure, it will kill democracy and negate the Constitution.
Talking to host Hamid Mir in Geo TV program “Capital Talk”, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Latif Khosa has said that if the Supreme Court decides against PTI on reserved seats, it will be a murder of democracy.
The leader of Pakistan Muslim League-N Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said that the kind of politics Tehreek-e-Insaaf is doing now can take the situation anywhere.
People’s Party Member of National Assembly Nabil Gabol said that he understands that the person sitting in Adiala jail wants to use external powers.
Regarding the decision of reserved seats, the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Latif Khosa said that if the decision is made according to Article 17 and Article 51 of the Constitution and political parties get their propositional representation, then the stature of the Supreme Court will increase. They have recognized the supremacy of the Constitution.
But if the Supreme Court decides against PTI under pressure, it will kill democracy and negate the Constitution.
On the decision to join the Sunni Unity Council, Latif Khosa said PTI members had no option.
In this country, establishment is doing the government. During the Zia era, the establishment had blown up the sword, the symbol of the People’s Party, and here too the bat was blown up.
In the decision given by Justice Waqar Seth regarding Musharraf, the decision was given to drag Musharraf’s dead body.
Latif Khosa said with PML-N and PPP that they are working together under compulsion.
Leader of Pakistan Muslim League-N Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said that stability is very important in Pakistan and parties inside and outside the House need to be smart otherwise things will go to a dead end.
