Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Announces the Introduction of a Digital Bill of Rights

Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, has announced the introduction of a Digital Bill of Rights.
Speaking at the convocation of Sindh University Jamshoro, Bilawal Bhutto stated that the internet has now become a fundamental human right, and they will bring forward a Digital Bill of Rights.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari criticized the government’s decision to shut down VPNs and limit internet speed, stating that such actions do not affect decision-makers in Islamabad but make life miserable for the youth.
The PPP Chairman emphasized that in today’s world, internet access is a fundamental human right, and they will fight to ensure access to fast and affordable internet.
He further mentioned that they will struggle alongside the youth for the Digital Rights Bill.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari remarked that before launching any new irrigation projects or constructing new canals, one must consider the future needs.
