Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman has issued a warning of legal action against those spreading false accusations, stating that there is no truth to the allegations.
According to Indian media reports, AR Rahman and Saira Banu announced their divorce a few days ago after 29 years of marriage.
In their announcement on social media, they referred to their emotional stress and appealed for privacy in their personal lives.
Following this, numerous defamatory rumors surfaced online, prompting AR Rahman to decide on legal action against those responsible for spreading them.
His legal team has demanded the removal of defamatory content based on fabricated stories and has issued notices regarding the matter.
