The Egyptian Election Authority has announced the results of the 2024 presidential election. The current president, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, has been re-elected as president.
According to the spokesperson of the Election Authority, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi has won 89.6 percent of the votes. The spokesperson has added that record voting has been done in the presidential election 2024.
According to the Election Authority spokesperson, the voting rate is 66.8 percent, which is the highest voting rate in the country’s history. Election Authority has said that 47 million voters cast their votes in the presidential elections.
The spokesperson of the Election Authority further said that 4 crore 47 lakh 72 thousand 668 votes were declared valid.
