Twitter Shutdown! What Happened?

Elon Musk warning angered twitter employees who had already fed up.

Head of Twitter, Elon Musk has taken extreme measures and it fed up a large number of Twitter employees who are now leaving their jobs. Many twitter offices, including the Twitter headquarters, have been locked.

According to New York Times, Twitter CEO Elon Musk issued a warning last week to his employees:

“Work long hours and under intense pressure or go home.”

This warning angered the employees who were already fed up. After this warning thousands of Twitter employees rejected Elon Musk’s demand and started resigning from their posts.

Workplace AppBlind has conducted a survey recently. Survey report reveals that 42% of all Twitter employees have decided to leave Twitter. While a quarter are forced to and only 7 percent have decided to continue working voluntarily in Twitter.

According to Washington Post report, Twitter CEO Elon Musk sent an email to his employees that if they wanted to stay in the company, they would have to work hard for the success of Twitter. If they could not do it, they could leave the job.

Twitter head Elon Musk forced his employees to sign a new contract at 5 pm on November 17, 2022. He also sent notice to the employees who didn’t sign that they could leave twitter with 3 months salary.

After Elon Musk’s warning, hundreds of Twitter employees rejected all of Elon Musk’s demands and resigned last night. It should be kept in mind that Elon Musk had already laid off more than 50 percent of Twitter’s staff.

Now, after mass resignations from Twitter, about 2,900 employees are connected to Twitter and are ready to accept Elon Musk’s tough terms. But according to these employees, Twitter will likely shutdown permanently soon.

According to American media reports, Twitter has announced the temporary closure of its headquarters and other offices from today due to mass layoffs and resignations. Access to badges has been suspended until November 21.
