Political parties Pakistan Muslim League-N, Tehreek-e-Insaaf, Istehkam e Pakistan Party, Peoples Party, Jamaat-e-Islami and independent candidates will participate in Election 2024.

Ahead of election 2024, Pakpattan’s leading political families are facing mutual factionalism. If past political affiliations are examined, only well-known families are active in the electoral field. These families include Manika (Vatto) family, Chishti family, Khaga family, Dogar family, Rajput family, Arain family and Pathan family.

In Pakpattan Tehsil NA 139 Constituency of the National Assembly and three Provincial Assembly Constituencies PP 193, PP 194 and PP 197, the eyes and lights of the above families have been struggling. Due to the change in the number of constituencies and changes in constituencies, some candidates are in anxiety.

Farrukh Mumtaz Manika MPA of PTI won from PP 191 (present PP 193) in Election 2018.

In Constituency PP 194, Diwan Azmat Syed Mohammad Chishti of Chishti community, Meher Moinuddin Chishti, Mian Naveed Ali of Arain community, Chaudhry Javed Ahmed, Rao Jameel Hashim Khan of Rajput community, Farooq Ahmed Khan Manika of Manika community are worth mentioning.

From Constituency PP 197, Sardar Mansab Ali Dogar, Ahmad Shah Khagha, Tariq Qayyum Shah Khagha, Waqar Ahmad Khan, Rao Jameel Hashim Khan are busy in the campaign. PTI’s Ahmad Shah Khaga MPA was elected from constituency PP 192 (present PP 197).

In Arifwala tehsil, the campaign of candidates is also going on in National Assembly Constituency NA 140 and two constituencies PP 195 and PP 196 of Provincial Assembly.

On the other hand, Khawar Manika’s court battle with Bushra Bibi is affecting the political reputation of Manika family. The mention of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi is common throughout the world, from which the well-known political family of Pakpattan is also being discussed. Since Bushra Bibi’s marriage to Imran Khan, it was clarified in the family that the first lady should not be called Bushra Manika. She belongs to Vatto family and has no relation with Manika family anymore.
