11 crore allocated for upgradation of Sahiwal College of Nursing

The School of Paramedics will also be reconstructed at a cost of Rs 194 lakh 90 thousand.

Sahiwal (Sahiwal Updates – Director Public Relations) The Punjab government has launched a mega project of upgradation of nursing colleges and public health nursing schools across the province for the betterment of nursing related educational institutions.

Under the project, the Nursing College and Public Health School established in Sahiwal Teaching Hospital will be upgraded at a cost of Rs 11 crore, for which the Building Department has invited tenders.

According to the details, more educational facilities will be provided in the nursing college with 2 crore 69 lakh 20 thousand rupees and the nursing hostel will be improved with 2 crore 94 lakh 30 thousand rupees. Similarly, additional training facilities will be provided in the Public Health Nursing School with Rs. 1 crore 63 lakh 80 thousand and renovation of the hostel building will be done with Rs. Under the project, the School of Paramedics will also be reconstructed at a cost of Rs 194 lakh 90 thousand.
