In Punjab, the children of employees who died before July 24 or who retired on medical grounds before July 24, 2024 are eligible for jobs.
Furthermore, the Lahore High Court has issued instructions to the Punjab government to provide jobs to the children of all employees under 17-A if they meet the eligibility criteria given in Rule 17-A.
