Francia Raisa Teases Her Upcoming Memoir
Now, with the memoir in the works, fans can look forward to hearing more of her story directly from her.
Francia Raisa has revealed she’s working on a memoir that will delve into the intimate details of her life.
In a recent interview on Live From the Other Side with Tyler Henry, the actress, famous for donating a kidney to her longtime friend Selena Gomez, shared that she’s in the early stages of planning a tell-all book.
“I’ve been quietly planning to write a memoir about my life,” Francia, 36, told PEOPLE, adding that Tyler Henry had encouraged her to pursue the project.
“He confirmed that I should go for it. I’m excited to share more soon!”
Francia’s revelation came after Henry suggested she consider documenting her experiences during the November 26 episode of the Netflix show.
“It seems like writing a book can help process the past and create space for growth,” Tyler remarked. Francia responded, saying that writing her memoir has become a personal reset.
Francia’s book will likely touch on her memorable act of kindness in 2017, when she donated a kidney to Selena Gomez, who was battling life-threatening complications from lupus.
However, the actress is also aware that her relationship with Selena has been a topic of public speculation, especially after Gomez referred to Taylor Swift as her “only friend” in the industry during a 2022 Rolling Stone interview.
Despite rumors of a rift, Francia set the record straight in December 2023, clarifying that she and Selena remain friends.
Now, with the memoir in the works, fans can look forward to hearing more of her story directly from her.
