PTI wants May 9th Part 2, Uzma Zahid Bukhari

She alleged that preparations for such actions are actively underway.

Provincial Minister of Punjab for Information and Culture Uzma Zahid Bukhari, in a recent press conference held in Lahore, accused Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) of planning a repeat of the events of May 9, which she referred to as “May 9th Part 2.”

She alleged that preparations for such actions are actively underway, further intensifying political tensions.

Uzma Zahid Bukhari claimed that Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, has mysteriously disappeared, while PTI leader Bushra Bibi is allegedly attempting to lend an “Islamic touch” to these developments.

She pointed out reports suggesting that police personnel are being targeted and tortured, stating that this level of violence reflects a calculated strategy rather than spontaneous protest.

She highlighted the injuries sustained by police officers, particularly head wounds, and compared these tactics to those of the Taliban.

“Ordinary youth do not have such hardened hearts,” she remarked, suggesting that the bullets aimed at policemen are coming from individuals disguised as “peaceful protesters.”

Bukhari emphasized the government’s commitment to ensuring that law enforcement is protected and warned against any attempts to destabilize the country further.

This statement comes amid escalating political polarization, with both PTI and government officials trading accusations over recent events.

Uzma Bukhari criticized the PTI and said, “Their agenda is that the state should also fire bullets so that they can get the dead bodies.”

She said, “No giants or spirits are firing bullets at the police, they are firing those whom PTI brought with it.”

Uzma Bukhari said, “PTI’s intention in Attack is to drop dead bodies. Killing and martyring policemen is what is called May 9 and what was May 9.”

She said, “The state is showing patience and tolerance at this time.”
