Zara Qadeer Murder: main accused confesses to her crime

"I made a mistake. It’s all my fault. My daughter, grandson, and other relatives are suffering because of me."

In the Sialkot district’s Daska tehsil, the main accused in the murder case of daughter-in-law Zara Qadeer, her mother-in-law Sughran, has confessed to the crime.

The hearing of the case took place in the court of Duty Magistrate Humaira Muzafar, where the main accused Sughran, her daughter Yasmin, her grandson Abdullah, and Naveed were presented.

Zara Qadeer Murder Case Details:

The FIR for Zara has been updated to include charges of  murder.

Accused Naveed has been remanded into police custody for one day.

Sughran, along with her second daughter Saba and son Qasim, is also in police custody.

Sughran’s Confession:

According to police officials, Sughran confessed to murdering her daughter-in-law Zara Qadeer out of jealousy and hatred. In her statement to the police, she admitted:

“I made a mistake. It’s all my fault. My daughter, grandson, and other relatives are suffering because of me.”

Police Action:

Police authorities stated that so far, four suspects have been arrested, while two others are in custody. The accused will be presented in court again tomorrow.
