PM Shehbaz Condemns Kalat Attack, Vows Action

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday strongly condemned a terrorist attack in Kalat, asserting that such acts of cowardice cannot shake the nation’s determination to fight terrorism.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the premier expressed his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, promising swift action against those responsible for the attack.

These cowardly acts cannot deter our resolve. Together with our nation and security forces, we will eradicate this menace.

Details about the attack remain scarce as authorities have not yet provided official information on casualties or damage.

The incident underscores the rise in terrorism-related activities in Pakistan, particularly in the provinces of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

In recent months, Pakistan has faced a series of deadly attacks. On November 9, a suicide bombing at Quetta Railway Station claimed 26 lives and injured 62 others.

In light of the increasing threats, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority has suspended mobile internet services in certain parts of Balochistan, citing public safety concerns.

The government has reiterated its commitment to bolstering security measures and supporting affected communities as it works to restore peace in the region.
