Silver Jubilee Maternity and Children Hospital Sahiwal meeting
DC Sahiwal urged the philanthropists to lend a helping hand to the administration to increase health facilities in the hospital.
Sahiwal (Sahiwal Updates – Arshad Farooq Butt) Deputy Commissioner Ikram-ul-Haq has said that the government is using all available resources to provide affordable and quality medical facilities to the poor people and in this regard, it is also far for the improvement of the maternity hospital. Actions are being taken.
He urged the philanthropists to lend a helping hand to the administration to increase health facilities in the hospital. He said this while presiding over the executive committee meeting of Silver Jubilee Maternity and Children Hospital Sahiwal in his office.
Additional Deputy Commissioner General/Administrator Silver Jubilee Hospital Syed Usman Munir Bukhari, Vice Chairman/Secretary Haji Ehsanul Haq Idris, Chaudhry Sultan Mahmood, Prof. Qamar-ul-Zaman Khan, Chaudhry Muhammad Naseem, Rana Wasim Akhtar, Mrs. Shad Masood, Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq Advocate were present in the meeting. , Ziaur Rehman Khan, President Sahiwal Chamber of Commerce Kashif Riaz and Advocate Ejaz Rasheed attended.
Regarding the construction of Sharif Children’s Surgery Med Block, Ferishta family member Ejaz Rasheed said that the construction work is going on rapidly and the process of purchasing medical machinery has also been started.
He further informed that Surgi Med Block will be completed and made functional by December 15. The meeting also approved the increase in the salaries of junior employees in the hospital.
Deputy Commissioner/Chairman Pakistan Red Crescent Society Ikram ul Haq also directed to complete the inquiry into the death of the baby during delivery in the Gynecology Ward.
In the meeting, the construction of pharmacy in the hospital and fixing the rent of shops according to the market rate was also reviewed in detail. In the meeting, permission was also given to hire a driver for the ambulance donated by Farishta family and it was directed to fix the rate of ambulance according to the market.
