University of Sahiwal organizes ceremony on Quaid-e-Azam Day

Commissioner Sahiwal Division Shoaib Iqbal Syed personally participated in the University of Sahiwal ceremony.

Sahiwal (Sahiwal Updates – Arshad Farooq Butt) On the special instructions of Commissioner Sahiwal Division Shoaib Iqbal Syed, special ceremonies were held in educational institutions of Sahiwal on the death anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

The students of University of Sahiwal and Government Graduate Girls College, Farid Town paid tribute to Quaid-e-Azam for his services to the nation.

Commissioner Sahiwal Division Shoaib Iqbal Syed personally participated in the University of Sahiwal ceremony. He said in his address that Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was a figure of honesty, courage and determination.

He was the owner of a true, honest and dignified personality and it is because of his political vision that we are breathing today in the independent state of Pakistan.

He urged the students to reflect on the sacrifices of this great personality who dedicated his entire life for the freedom of Muslim India.

Vice Chancellor University of Sahiwal Professor Dr. Javed Akhtar, Registrar Syed Ghulam Ali Asghar, Controller of Examinations Mubasher Saeed, Director Academic Dr. Muhammad Hasnain, Director Student Affairs Dr. Waseem Tufail, Dr. Muhammad Ayub, a large number of teachers and students participated in the ceremony.

He further said that it was Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah who united the scattered Muslims of the subcontinent and united them under the banner of Muslim League. He urged the youth to adopt the thoughts of Quaid-e-Azam so that Pakistan can be taken on the path of development.

He urged the students to concentrate on their studies so that they can play their important role to face the challenges of the future. Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Javed Akhtar said that Quaid-e-Azam got a separate homeland for Muslims with his professional skills and his lack can never be compensated.

Describing Pakistan as a blessing, he urged the new generation to appreciate this blessing and always remember the eternal sacrifices of these personalities.

Apart from this, a function was organized at the Government Graduate College for Women, Farid Town, on the occasion of the day of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on September 11 to pay tribute to his services.

Director Colleges Prof. Muhammad Masood Faridi and Assistant Commissioner General Aliza Rehan were the chief guests of the event while Principal Samira Naseem, Vice Principal Zahida Bashir, Samia Masood, Ajala Kausar and a large number of students participated in the event.

The participants of the event shed light on the practical life of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and appreciated his professional services. At the end of the ceremony, collective Fatiha was recited and prayer was also done for the great leader.
