Sahiwal Educational Trust approves Cambridge School Campus at DPS Sahiwal
Chairman of the Trust and Commissioner Sahiwal Division Shoaib Iqbal Syed chaired the meeting of the Board of Trustees.
The Sahiwal Educational Trust Board meeting has approved the construction of Cambridge School Campus at DPS Sahiwal.
The Cambridge School Campus will be completed in 3 phases with the first phase estimated to cost Rs 15 crore.

While Secretary Trust/Additional Commissioner Coordination Shafiq Ahmed Dogar, Principal DPS Brigadier (R) Syed Anwar ul Hassan Kirmani and members Board of Trustees Chaudhry Sultan Mehmood, Professor Qamar ul Zaman Khan, Syed Iftikhar Hussain Shah, Habib Jilani Venus, Dr. Shahzad Tahir Chaudhry, Sheikh Basharat Nadeem, Director Development Dr. Saifullah and Director Public Relations Muhammad Aqeel Ashfaq attended the meeting.
Commissioner Shoaib Iqbal Syed has said that he appreciates the educational services of late Sheikh Muhammad Yunus. His son and former president Sahiwal Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sheikh Basharat Nadeem is welcomed as a board member.
He termed the construction of Cambridge School Campus as another milestone for DPS which will provide quality education to O level and A level students.
In the meeting, Principal Brigadier (retd) Syed Anwar Al Hasan Kirmani said that the work of installing solar panels in Ravi Campus has been completed while the main campus and Chichawatni campus are in the final stages of completion.
Solar panels will save the school millions of rupees per month in terms of electricity bills. The board meeting also approved preparing separate pay scales for DPS teachers and employees.
While the appeal against the punishment given to Ishrat Parveen, Senior Teacher (English) of the Girls’ School for violation of discipline, was also rejected.
