Punjab Govt announces one week holidays for KG and Nursery class
CM Punjab has taken notice of the deaths of 36 children due to pneumonia in the province.
Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi has announced the postponement of the children’s exams to be held this month and a week’s holiday for children up to the first class.
According to the details, CM Punjab has taken notice of the deaths of 36 children due to pneumonia in the province. He says that 8 out of every 10 children suffer from pneumonia.
On the matter of death of children due to pneumonia, the Chief Minister of Punjab has called an emergency meeting at the Children Hospital Lahore.
Mohsin Naqvi said that the assembly of children should be stopped in the morning, and vaccination against pneumonia should be given to children and elderly people immediately. He said that a child who has pneumonia should be prevented from coming to school.
