Sahiwal Arts Council organizes Independence celebrations

Sahiwal Arts Council organizes a dialogue entitled “New Generation and Modern Contemporary Demands” in connection with Independence Month celebrations.

DIG Prisons Sahiwal Malik Shaukat Feroze Awan presided over the event while Director Public Relations Muhammad Aqeel Ashfaq, Professor Zahid Zahoor, Zeeshan Nabi, Sidra Saleem and Maryam Zia participated in the panel.

Malik Shaukat Feroze Awan expressed his opinion and said that the new generation was the asset of our nation and it was their collective responsibility to adapt and develop it according to modern requirements.

As a nation, we have to determine our destination and provide opportunities to the new generation so that they can overcome their intellectual differences and persevere in establishing a bright Pakistan.

The new generation has to get acquainted with the modern world and new sciences and take Pakistan on the path of development. The panel as a whole emphasized on furthering this tradition of dialogue and found it useful and effective for the younger generation to participate in such events.

Director Sahiwal Arts Council Dr Riaz Hamdani said that every age has its own intellectual truth which is called Ruh Asr. The new generation is the Amen and guardian of the spirit of Asr.

Zeeshan Nabi said that the new generation should acquire keen interest and expertise in the IT sector so that Pakistan becomes economically strong.

During the dialogue various questions were asked by the participants and the program was described as an overall success.
