According to the Washington Post, the new film on Donald Trump’s life had its world premiere at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival. The former president is likely to take legal action against him.

According to foreign media, the film “The Apprentice” portrays Donald Trump as a young property developer in New York in the 1970s and 1980s.

The film shows references to Donald Trump sexually assaulting his first wife. In this regard, the spokesperson of the former president has described it as fiction, nonsense and Hollywood’s interference in the US elections.

According to foreign media, Donald Trump’s first wife Ivana Trump accused the former president of rape during the divorce proceedings in the past. Ivana Trump later retracted the accusation and died in 2002.

On the other hand, Steven Cheung, a close associate of Donald Trump, has said that legal action will be taken against the blatantly false claims made by the filmmakers.

The Iranian director of this film, Ali Abbasi, while talking to journalists, has said that Donald Trump’s team should watch the film before suing us.
